When you're building a business, "I'll just do it myself" starts as a practical solution.
Need a logo? You'll figure it out. Need to send an invoice? Easy. Need to manage social media, answer emails, chase payments, and somehow find time to actually grow the business? Sure, why not?
Until one day, you are doing ten people's jobs and wondering why you don't have time to do the one thing that actually matters: work on the business, not just in it.
Being a founder means wearing a lot of hats. But not every hat needs to stay on your head forever. Learning to delegate is one of the biggest shifts you make as your business grows. Your time is valuable, and spending hours on tasks someone else could handle isn't always being resourceful. Sometimes, it's simply not letting go.
The same applies to where you work.
Your workspace might seem like a small detail when you're starting out, but it can have a surprisingly big impact on how you work. A coworking space for entrepreneurs gives you the flexibility to focus on your business without having to manage everything that comes with running an office setting up infrastructure, dealing with maintenance, worrying about meeting spaces, or figuring out where the next team member is going to sit.
More importantly, you get an environment built around work.
You have a professional space for client meetings, dedicated areas to focus, and the flexibility to scale as your team grows. And then there's the part you can't put on an office checklist: community.
Working around other founders, freelancers, agencies, and growing teams means you're never too far from a fresh perspective. A coffee conversation can spark an idea. A casual introduction can lead to a collaboration. Someone at the next desk might have already solved the problem you're currently overthinking.
That's the advantage of a coworking space. It doesn't just give you somewhere to work. It gives you an environment where you don't have to figure everything out alone.
Because the goal isn't to work less.
It's to spend more of your time doing the work only you can do making decisions, building relationships, solving bigger problems, and growing the business.
So the next time you catch yourself saying, "I'll just do it myself," pause.
Ask yourself: "Do I actually need to do this or do I just need to let someone else take it from here?"
And maybe ask one more question:
"Is my workspace helping me build this business, or am I spending too much time managing the space around it?"
Because growing a business is not about wearing every hat.
It's about knowing which ones you can finally take off.
And yes, someone else can probably order the printer paper.
